Letter: Turn to God in repentance

In our best and often-overlooked guide book, the Bible, the book of Ecclesiastes 8:8-13 says: “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the hearts of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”

We have thought that we know more than God, who created us, and now we are reaping what we have sown, and if we keep on going down this road like we are now, we will end up in total chaos and confusion, starving and freezing. In this awful time, we could turn against one another. The sooner we go back to God in repentance for our ungodliness, ask Him to forgive us and bless us, the better off we will be. If we do not, then our nation that has been blessed by God will be destroyed, and we will be in total misery.
