Clark County ceremony to celebrate disability awareness

Clark County’s 22nd Annual Celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month will be held Wednesday at Clark College, honoring businesses and individuals making a difference in the lives of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

The event, which will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., will also be held virtually. An in-person networking event will take place at the college from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Awards will be given to a large employer, a small employer and an employee with a development or intellectual disability, and others will be celebrated for their service to people living with disabilities.
