In 2020, Clark County voters chose Charter Review commissioners to review our Home Rule Charter and make recommendations. The commission had seven proposals on the 2021 ballot, of which the voters approved six with an average approval rate of 67 percent. On this November ballot there are six more proposed charter amendments, proposed by that same Charter Review Commission, to allow ranked-choice voting in the county, to add a preamble, to give the county’s citizens easier access to initiatives and referendums, and other changes to keep our local county government running smoothly. See CharterYes.org. Then please vote in November!
