Letter: Vote to protect access to abortion

Why would anyone want to force women, families and even children to have babies they don’t want and can’t afford? Medical, housing, education and food costs are high, making it tough for families to provide for children they already have.

Yet Republicans are making it a priority to severely limit access to abortion, even in cases of rape, incest, or for the mother’s health. People should be free to determine what’s best for them and their families. Forcing women to have children is not freedom.

Vote for Democrats across the board to support the right to choose,
