Vancouver Women’s March will hold a Women’s Wave march at Esther Short Park beginning at noon Saturday. The event is one of 450 events planned nationwide to highlight the need to protect women’s reproductive, voting and health care rights, according to organizers.

“We are united in our commitment to freedom and dignity for all Americans and putting failed ‘leaders’ on notice — from Supreme Court Justices, to candidates running for office, to sitting electeds on both side of the aisle — we will not stop marching, protesting, voting, running for office until all of our freedoms are protected,” organizer Terri Niles said in a press release.

Guest speakers include 3rd Congressional District candidate Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, 17th Legislative District candidate Terri Niles, state Rep. Sharon Wylie, state Rep. Monica Stonier and Clark County Council candidate Chartisha Roberts.
