The Clark Regional Wastewater District will begin construction on the Northeast 20th Avenue Sewer Pipeline project in mid-October. The project is expected to be completed by summer of 2023 with final landscaping work wrapping up during the fall.

Construction will begin at the intersection of Northeast 139th Street and Northeast 20th Avenue, then move to the north. Work along Northeast 20th Avenue is anticipated to last nine months. As the work will generally occur during daytime hours, it will be in the center of the roadway with a lane of traffic open in both directions. Drivers should expect daytime closures of the center turn lane and adjacent travel lanes along with isolated nighttime lane closures. Left turns will not be allowed across active construction areas.

Work along Northeast 139th Street is expected to last for two weeks and will be completed at night to limit impacts to drivers and neighboring businesses. Those traveling through the area should expect nighttime lane closures. Traffic lanes will be reopened each morning.
