Vancouver Symphony Orchestra gets $600K grant from Murdock Trust

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra was one of 81 nonprofits across the Pacific Northwest to receive a grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust this summer, according to its Summer 2022 Grants Report released Thursday.

The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust awarded $26.7 million in grants, with $8.7 million going toward 25 nonprofits serving the Washington community.

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra received $600,000 for program expansion to “engage performing arts patrons” according to the report. It was the only nonprofit in Clark County to be awarded a grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust during the summer 2022 grant season.
