Men’s Soccer

THE WEEK THAT WAS

The Penguins (5-8, 5-7) lost to Peninsula 4-1 on Saturday. Wilson Fresh had the goal for Clark.

THE WEEK TO COME

The Penguins travel to face Tacoma on Saturday.

Women’s Soccer

THE WEEK THAT WAS

The Penguins (8-3-1, 8-3-1) beat South Puget Sound 10-0 on Wednesday. Kelli Huskic scord four goals and Shalece Easley had two goals.

THE WEEK TO COME

Clark travels to face Centralia on Wednesday and then hosts Green River on Saturday at 12 p.m.

Volleyball

THE WEEK THAT WAS

The Penguins (11-10, 5-5) split a pair of matches on the road. Clark beat Southwestern Oregon 3-1 on Friday then lost to Rogue 3-2 on Saturday.

THE WEEK TO COME

The Penguins host Umpqua at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, then travel to face Lane on Friday.

Cross Country

THE WEEK THAT WAS

The Penguins competed at the Lewis & Clark Invitational on Saturday near Estacada, Ore.

Gary Sherman was the top men’s finisher, covering 8,000 meters in 26 minutes, 48.7 seconds to place 103rd out of 345 runners.

Jane Kuebrich was the top women’s finisher, covering 6,000 meters in 25:09.8 to place 121st out of 261 runners.

THE WEEK TO COME

The Penguins next compete at the NWAC Southern Region Championship on Oct. 29 in Clackamas, Ore.
