Two candidates are competing for the House position currently held by Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler. I respectfully address the rest of this letter to her:
I’ve often felt under-represented by you, Jaime, but I’ve nevertheless applauded your legislative choices at times. Your courageous vote to impeach Mr. Trump is your most admirable act in your 12-year career as a congresswoman.
Now, please take another strong stand before it’s too late. Of the two vying candidates, only one will govern with the integrity that you value. Your endorsement of Marie Gluesenkamp Perez will help her defeat her divisive and extremist opponent.
