Given the political power of King County, the needs of Southwest Washington might not be top-of-mind in the doings at Olympia. Fortunately, we in the borderland have two strong advocates there. Sharon Wylie and Monica Stonier capably represent not only the 49th Legislative District, but from the influential positions they hold at the Capitol, they watch out for the interests of Clark County residents as a whole. The wise resident of the 49th will vote to retain these highly experienced public servants.
