RIDGEFIELD — The October 2022 employee and students of the month were recognized at a recent school board meeting.
October’s employee of the month is Aubree Beeks. Beeks is the site nurse for South Ridge Elementary who knows who needs a hug and to talk about something in addition to the ice pack for the mystery injury, and who needs a firm word and boundary established before sending them back to class. Beeks said “I used to work in the jail, so there isn’t much that is going to surprise me.”
October’s students of the month include: Isabella Ibarra, fourth-grader at South Ridge Elementary School; Josiah Kuyarov, fourth-grader at Union Ridge Elementary School; Mateo Garcia, sixth-grader at Sunset Ridge Intermediate School; Malikai Ikonomou, sixth-grader at Wisdom Ridge Academy; August Hynning, eighth-grader at View Ridge Middle School; and Caige Sothern, senior at Ridgefield High School.
