Letter: Support Kimsey for auditor

By Lew Waters, Vancouver
Published: October 23, 2022, 6:00am

I have had my differences with Greg Kimsey in the past, but have never had cause to doubt his integrity and honesty overseeing our elections.

Brett Simpson, on the other hand, is neck deep in the fringe, far-right group that infiltrated and now wields far too much power within the Clark County Republican Party.

It is outright frightening to imagine that fringe, win-by-any-means element controlling our elections as they do their party.

We must vote to keep Greg Kimsey as county auditor and keep our elections department fair and honest.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
