Letter: Do the right thing, vote for Perez

Washington’s upcoming 3rd Congressional District election leaves citizens the choice between Joe Kent and Marie Perez, which should only have one outcome. According to an article by KGW, one of Joe Kent’s goals is to “stop sending money and support to Ukraine as part of a foreign policy plan that puts American citizens first.” As a person whose family originated from Ukraine, the potential to have a candidate who would not support my people, as well as a country that has a diplomatic relationship with the U.S., is nothing shy of abhorrent. Do the right thing. Vote for Marie Perez.
