Clark County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 32-year-old Vancouver man after a stabbing at a Halloween party Saturday night.

Spencer James Duran of Vancouver was booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault, according to a press release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 10:45 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a 911 call reporting that a man stabbed another man at a party at 10419 N.E. 25th Place in the Sherwood neighborhood north of Vancouver.

Emergency responders found 49-year-old Andrew Parks of Vancouver bleeding profusely from a deep cut, and took him to a local hospital.

Partygoers had restrained Duran, who was arrested by deputies. Sheriff’s detectives are continuing to investigate.
