Letter: Kent doesn’t represent majority

I’m concerned that it’s possible in the upcoming election Joe Kent could become our representative in the House of Representatives.

Mr. Kent said he looks up to Matt Gaetz. I know a lot of Republicans who simply vote Republican because they always have. I would just like them to consider that Kent is identifying with a member of Congress under investigation for sex trafficking a minor. In addition, I’ve seen interviews where it became apparent he identifies with the white nationalist community. My hope is moderate Republicans will vote against Mr. Kent to demonstrate his extremist views do not represent a majority of the people in this district.
