Letter: Support Steinke for utilities

Wouldn’t it be nice if, while we experience the ramifications of climate change, there was a representative on the Clark Public Utilities board of commissioners with a strong science background, who understands the necessity of implementing sustainable green energy into our energy grid? Someone who could help Clark County realize the economic and political gains by being a leader in our nation’s turn away from fossil fuel dependency instead of the status quo laggards we employ today? Well, we have such an option in candidate Don Steinke. And that in itself is a breath of much-needed fresh air.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
