Clark County Public Works’ Parks and Lands is seeking public feedback on four proposed pickleball courts at Pacific Community Park in east Vancouver.

The department will hold a public meeting to discuss the proposed courts and gather community input at 6 p.m. today in the Bud Van Cleve meeting room at Luke Jensen Sports Park, 4000 N.E. 78th St., Vancouver.

The proposed courts will be near the center of the park. Construction will include surfacing, striping, and installation of permanent fencing. Installation of a covered area is also under consideration. Existing park facilities and structures, such as the dog park, picnic shelter, skate bowl and restrooms, will not be impacted. The addition of the pickleball courts will not impact the park master plan.

To learn more about the project, go to https://clark.wa.gov/public-works/pacific-community-park. Comments can be submitted via mail, in person or by email at pwparksprojects@clark.wa.gov and must be received by Oct. 21.
