One person was treated for injuries after a Wednesday morning garage fire in east Vancouver.
The Vancouver Fire Department responded at 2:15 a.m. to a fire at 3709 N.E. Springwood Court.
Crews arrived to find a large amount of fire coming from an attached garage, according to a news release.
Eighteen personnel, including four engines, one ladder truck and two battalion chiefs got the fire under control in about 40 minutes, the fire department said.
The Red Cross responded to help the resident who was displaced. That resident was treated by AMR on scene and released, according to the news release.
The Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
