Letter: Thanks from fire chief

By Scott Sorenson, fire chief, District 3, Brush Prairie
Published: August 8, 2023, 6:00am

I want to thank everyone who participated in the Aug. 1 primary election. We are disappointed with the results, but we respect the decision of the voters. We will continue to provide the highest level of service within the budget. The next step is for staff to meet with the Board of Fire Commissioners to discuss how we plan to move forward.

We welcome your participation in these discussions and will continue to report back to you.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
