Letter: Republicans unable to govern

After watching the 14th and 15th votes on Jan. 6 to elect Kevin McCarthy as House speaker, with near fights and obscenities flying, we saw the “clown car” crash and burn. Apparently, Jan. 6 is the preferred date for Republicans to display their fireworks at the Capitol. The GOP revealed, for the whole world to see, their total inability to govern. Choosing a speaker was supposed to be the easy part. The party of disunity managed to take more speaker votes than any time in the last 164 years.

Pass out the popcorn, the next two years promise to be very entertaining!
