In response to your article on “Clark County Veterans Assistance Center food program confronts challenges” (Feb. 3), I think tiny housing villages are a program worth expanding in Clark County. With the prices rising long-term resources are harder and harder to come by. But if there is an investment made in housing for the veterans it allows them to take the first step toward long-term stability.
They could be privately funded and maintained by churches or other groups, or they could be state funded. These people served our country, and they deserve a steppingstone to help them stay safe and warm so they can continue to be productive members of society.
