Re: “Jesus Christ holds the keys” by Roy Schimelpfenig (Our Readers’ Views, Jan. 1):

I find it puzzling that Mr. Schimelpfenig invokes Jesus Christ as the key. The key to what? In his past letters to the editor, he has voiced support for the Trump agenda as the answer to our woes. When I look at Trump’s behavior the past seven years, he seems the opposite of what Jesus was preaching. I would like to know how Schimelpfenig reconciles this dichotomy.
