Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the election of Douglas Bartocci, Lisa Dow, Jessica Engblom-Stryker, Erik Paulsen, Monte Phillips and Mei Wu to its board of trustees. The foundation raises funds for Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, part of Legacy Health, the area’s largest local nonprofit health system.

Douglas Bartocci is a vice president and managing broker at Fuller Group, a commercial real estate and property management company in Vancouver. He joined the company in 2016, and prior to that, he was a vice president and real estate broker for 15 years at NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies, Colliers International and Norris & Stevens.

Lisa Dow is the executive vice president and chief risk officer at Columbia Bank. Dow was previously a senior vice president at West Coast Bank from 1996 to 2013. She is the board treasurer of Columbia River Economic Development Council. Dow received her B.A. in economics and international business from the University of Puget Sound and her MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jessica Engblom-Stryker is a community volunteer and fitness enthusiast. She earned a degree in sports medicine from Western Washington University. She also currently volunteers for Vancouver Public Schools at Marshall Elementary. Engblom-Stryker previously served on the board for Cathy Anna Mayer Encouraging Others, a local nonprofit.

Erik Paulsen is currently on a professional sabbatical after a 30-year career in financial services. In 2019, Paulsen was elected to the Vancouver City Council and was elected to a second term in 2021. He currently serves on the executive committee of the Columbia River Economic Development Council and the board of the SW Washington Regional Transportation Council. He previously served as the chair of the Vancouver Planning Commission, was a member of Vancouver’s 2016 Affordable Housing Task Force and was a board member of the Southwest Clean Air Agency.

Monte Phillips has been the general manager and partner at Vancouver Auto Group since 2014 and, from 2010 to 2013, was the general sales manager. He has been in the automotive industry since 1993. Phillips also serves on the boards of 100 Men Who Care of Clark County and Royal Oaks Country Club. He also volunteers with the American Cancer Society, Teach One Lead One and is a member of the Summit View Church.

Mei Wu is a co-founder and vice president of corporate development at Speak Technologies. Previously, Wu was a managing director for SmartRG, Inc. (now ADTRAN), a leader in open-source connected home platforms and cloud services. Wu is the chair of Columbia River Economic Development Council and on the advisory council for Washington State University Vancouver. She is also an ambassador and angel investor for the Oregon Venture Fund.
