A two-car crash early Saturday morning north of Yacolt sent two people to the hospital.

According to Sgt. Fred Neiman, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 23100 block of Worthington Road at 6:55 a.m. in response to a report of a head-on collision. Neiman said a 39-year-old Vancouver resident was driving a Hyundai north on Worthington Road when the car hit a patch of ice and slid into the path of an oncoming Honda driven by a 70-year-old Yacolt resident.

Both drivers received minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Neiman said the road conditions were the only factor suspected in the crash.
