Letter: Complaints don’t add up

Hardworking teachers make an average salary of $59,000 in the state of Washington and deserve more for their dedication to teaching our children. Randi Weingarten’s salary as president of the American Federation of Teachers is in excess of $489,000, plus other incentives such as first-class or charter travel.

Here she was today demonstrating and yelling in front of the Supreme Court in favor of student debt relief. The country is $32 trillion in debt. I guess Ms. Weingarten missed math in school.
