Vancouver police locate missing 12-year-old girl

UPDATE: Vancouver police announced early Monday that Kaylee “Kade” Joyce McPhillips has been found and her family notified.


The Vancouver Police Department has released a photo of Kaylee “Kade” Joyce McPhillips who has been missing since yesterday.

The police department is seeking the public’s help in locating the 12-year-old girl who they say walked away from her home Friday afternoon.

McPhillips is described as five feet, two inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. Police said she has pink/blonde hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen at the Evergreen High School campus around 3:30 p.m. wearing a black coat, white long-sleeve shirt, pink sweatpants and black shoes.

Anyone who sees her has been asked to contact law enforcement. The Vancouver Police Department can be reached at 360-487-7355.
