off to a rousing start Friday afternoon at Propstra Stadium.

Hudson’s Bay scored two runs in the bottom of the 11th to beat Skyview 3-2.

After pitching ruled for five innings, Skyview got on the board first when Kellen Wiggins was hit by a pitch, forcing home Jack Santic for a 1-0 lead.

The Storm were one strike away from a win when an errant throw following a passed ball allowed Alex Haloulos-Younts to score from third base for Bay.

The game remained 1-1 until the 11th, when Skyview scored again on a bases-loaded hit batsman, this time it was Gavin Poffenroth that allowed Caden Spanier to score.

In the bottom of the 11th, Chanz Flores singled and Sebastian Laddusaw doubled, putting runners on second and third with no outs. One out later, Haloulos-Younts was walked to load the bases.

Skyview tried to win the game on a game-ending double play, but an error allowed Flores and Laddusaw to score, giving Bay the win.
