This year’s East County Industry Hiring Fair will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. March 29 at Washougal High School.
The event — jointly organized by the Washougal and Camas school districts — invites local businesses to come speak with adults and teens in the community about job opportunities. There will also be resume-writing workshops and information on how to use LinkedIn and other skill-based workshops for finding employment.
Participating employers include the city of Vancouver Parks and Recreation, Clark College, Oregon Commercial Painters, PeaceHealth, the Port of Camas-Washougal and more.
“These kinds of experiences can shape the trajectory of students’ entire careers,” said Margaret Rice, director of Career & Technical Education at the Washougal School District.
