Johnson Bixby is hosting a Pro Bono Financial Planning Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Certified financial planners from Johnson Bixby, Silver Oak Advisory Group, First Pacific Financial and City Fiduciary Group will be available to meet one-on-one with those who haven’t engaged professional help before. Planners will be ready to answer questions about debt repayment, retirement planning, saving for college and other financial challenges.

“This day is about education, knowledge and sharing our resources,” said Kimberly S. Baker, Johnson Bixby’s director of financial planning.

Sessions of about 25 minutes will take place at Ripple Space, 275 W. Third St., Suite 400, Vancouver.

Organizers welcome drop-ins but recommend preregistering at johnsonbixby.com.

Save First Financial Wellness, an organization offering a full suite of financial wellness services in Southwest Washington and Oregon, will also be available to talk about its programs.

Saturday’s Pro Bono Financial Planning Day is part of a yearlong celebration to mark Johnson Bixby’s 40-year anniversary and its belief in the Ripple Effect, in which positive actions in one area connect to other areas to help the community flourish.
