RIDGEFIELD — Ridgefield school administrators recognized the May 2023 employee and students of the month at the May 9 Board of Directors meeting.
Employee of the Month is Sunset Ridge Intermediate teacher Kippi Barbouletos-Brink. Barbouletos-Brink has taught 24 years in Ridgefield, and was cited as a strong advocate for students, paying close attention to what they need and then working hard to ensure they get it.
The May Students of the Month include: Brynlee Emerick, pre-kindergarten student at the Early Learning Center; Cooper Olsen, kindergartner at South Ridge Elementary School; Eli Driedge, kindergartner at Union Ridge Elementary School; Macaela Williams, sixth-grader at Sunset Ridge Intermediate School; Evan Yost, eighth-grader at View Ridge Middle School; Caleb Benedick, sophomore at Wisdom Ridge Academy; and Isabelle Sheley, senior at Ridgefield High School.
