Letter: Biden should step down

Published:

Dear President Biden, I would like you to know I have supported most of your policies.

I live in an over-55 community. I am 77 and my husband is 80. We see the cognitive decline in ourselves as well as our neighbors, and in you as well.

While speaking to my neighbors, there is one that is thing is clearly and overwhelming apparent. It is time for you to step down and allow a younger more vibrant candidate to step up. I am sorry but Kamala Harris is not electable.

The survival of our democracy demands this sacrifice of you. Please, I beg of you step down.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
