A new Community Benefits Advisory Group to the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program will hold its first meeting from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday. The group will develop recommendations to achieve the greatest benefit for the communities in the program area and broader region from the program’s work, in alignment with the program’s equity framework and community priorities, according to the project office.

The meeting is online; members of the public can watch live on the project’s YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHv4Bn10ExM.

The community benefits conversations are intended to help ensure that the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program’s investment aligns with the community’s future vision for the area, as well as complement the work of the program’s existing advisory groups, according to the project office.

Questions about the group or other topics may be sent to info@interstatebridge.org. Community members can also call 360-859-0494.
