Letter: Support Perkel for city council

By Monica Zazueta, VANCOUVER

I am a concerned mum and I want to know who in our community is tired of struggling with the cost of living? My friend Leah Perkel, running for Vancouver City Council, has been knocking the doors of our neighborhoods and asking our communities what they are struggling with, and it is the cost of rent. After she’s elected, her intent is to pass a resolution declaring that housing is a human right. Leah truly cares about the health of our communities and that’s why I am voting for her and I am asking you to vote for her, too.
