Vancouver resident works aboard USS Carl Vinson

VANCOUVER — Aviation Machinist’s Mate 1st Class Elijah Adrian of Vancouver performs preventative maintenance on an E-2D Advanced Hawkeye assigned to the “Black Eagles” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 113 aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. Vinson, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group ONE, is conducting routine operations in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area.
