A man died in a house fire Friday in northeast Vancouver.
Firefighters responded just after 2 a.m. Friday to a fire in the 15100 block of Northeast 81st Way. Crews put out the fire and searched the house, where they found a man unconscious and not breathing inside, according to a news release from the Vancouver Fire Department.
First responders attempted lifesaving medical procedures on the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire, according to a news release.
