Ari Richardson was six for six from the free throw line in the fourth quarter as Columbia River held on to beat Prairie 63-61 in a non-league boys basketball game Saturday night at the Moda Center in Portland.
Richardson finished with 19 points, leading four Rapids in double figures.
John Reeder had 16 points for River, while Luca Phillips and Aaron Hoey had 13 each.
Richardson scored eight of River’s 10 fourth-quarter pointers.
Carson Morningstar had 10 of Prairie’s 13 fourth-quarter points as the Falcons tried to rally late. Morningstar finished with a game-high 29 points.
Malachi Patton scored 13 points for Prairie, and Jamir Jones had 11.
