Playing without leading scorer Jamison McCann, the Ridgefield boys basketball team used a balanced attack to beat Mark Morris 58-53, sending the Monarchs to their first loss of the season.
Henry Wikstrom scored 13 points, while Malik Underwood, Drew Krsul and Jack Hughes scored 12 each for the Spudders.
The game was tied throughout with Ridgefield taking a 26-22 lead at halftime and a 41-39 lead after three quarters.
Wikstrom, Krsul and Underwood had four points each in the fourth quarter.
Dalton Stevens led Mark Morris with 21 points, while Nate Stephens had 17 points.
Mark Morris played without two starters — Drew Ibaretta and Jayden Brooks.
“In the end, we just didn’t make the plays needed to win the game,” Mark Morris coach Ken Kelly said. “When you fail to execute, that fails on the coach, and I’m more than willing to take the blame and learn from it. Four games in six nights just proved to be a little too much for us to conquer, and I give Coach Buffum and Ridgefield a ton of credit for the win.”
SETON CATHOLIC 68, FORT VANCOUVER 55 — Kaiden Wilson scored 24 points and Brady Angelo had nine of his 18 points in the fourth quarter as Seton Catholic pulled away.
Seton led 50-47 after three quarters. Josiah Jointer had 13 to lead Fort, while Leighton Livengood scored and Isaiah Barajas added 11.
COLUMBIA-WHITE SALMON 71, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN 62 — Mason Hamilton scored 45 points to help rally the Bruins to a road win in their Trico League opener.
King’s Way took a 47-44 lead into the fourth quarter, but Hamilton poured in 19 points in the fourth to surge Columbia into the lead.
Hamilton was 7 for 7 from the line in the fourth quarter and 13 for 14 overall.
Jackson Lovato had 20 points to lead King’s Way, and Radley Matson-Blighton added 18.
KALAMA 66, STEVENSON 47 — Abel Koski scored 14 points and Gavin McBride has 12 as Kalama opened Trico League play with a road win.
The Chinooks led 31-24 at halftime and blew the game open with a 22-7 edge in the third quarter.
Gabe Crawford had eight points and seven assists for Kalama, and McBride had six rebounds.
Jude Travinski of Stevenson led all scorers with a 22 points.
BATTLE GROUND 71, EVERGREEN 69 — James Gill scored 30 points and Collin McGowan added 15 as the Tigers had to fend off a fourth-quarter comeback by Evergreen.
Dez Daniel scored 14 of his game-high 34 points in the fourth quarter as Evergreen rallied from down 57-43 after three quarters.
MOUNTAIN VIEW 74, SKYVIEW 68 — Luke Swerdlik hit five 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 29 points, hitting 9 of 10 3-pointers, for the Thunder.
Malcolm Weatherspoon had 16 points, Theo Sheron had 15 points and Jack Fournier added 10 for Thunder.
Malakai Weimer led Skyview with 22 points and Ryan Hansen had 17.
UNION 60, KELSO 33 — Drew Hill and Kody Holcomb scored 11 points each to lead four Titans in double figures.
Daniel Kirichenko and Nick Burchett added 10 points each for Union.
CAMAS 82, HERITAGE 35 — Ethan Harris scored 23 points and Nyima Namru had 16 points to lead Camas. Jace VanVoorhis added 14 for the Papermakers.
Brooks Greenwald led Heritage with 13.
PRAIRIE 73, W.F. WEST 57 — Carson Morningstar had 32 points and 14 rebounds and Malachi Patton added 18 points and eight assists for the Falcons.
Prairie broke the game open with 31-point third quarter, opening a 62-38 lead.

CAMAS 93, KELSO 31 — Keirra Thompson had 23 points and nine assists and Lauren Hood and 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds to lead Camas.
Sophie Buzzard added 18 points for the Papermakers, and Baylie Farra had 12.
EVERGREEN 70, BATTLE GROUND 29 — Adrian Wright scored 19 points and Kimora Ross had 15 points to lead Evergreen in a non-league win. Ava Robertson scored 12 points to lead Battle Ground.
