Know it all

The Camas Public Library will host the Big Quiz of the Year from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. This evening of 2024 trivia will cover a variety of topics, including sports, world events, major headlines and pop culture. Play with a team or be assigned to one at the event. It’s free to play and there are no prizes except bragging rights. Registration is required at CamasPL.org/2024BigQuiz.

Last chance for lights

Christmas on Franklin features 200,000 lights stretched across eight properties that will glow from 5 to 10 p.m. every night through Dec. 31, with a centerpiece display at 4616 N.W. Franklin St., Vancouver. See a life-sized Nativity scene with a 24-foot-tall star, a 60-foot lighted cedar tree, a 15-foot snowman, characters from “Frozen,” lifelike reindeer, the Grinch and dancing Christmas trees. Hot cocoa and treats are available for purchase on weekends. For more details, see facebook.com/HolidaysOnFranklin or holidaysonfranklin.com.

Ghost story

Author and historian Jeff Davis will lead a Grant House Ghost Tour from 3 to 4 p.m. Dec. 27 and Jan. 19. Meet at Willful Wine, 1101 Officers Row, Vancouver, on the first floor, then Davis will spook the wine right out of guests’ glasses as he reveals the history of Grant House and its five resident ghosts. Tickets are $20; reservations are encouraged at willfulwine.com or by calling 360-433-2206. The $20 ticket will be refunded with a purchase from Willful Wine’s menu.

Find your groove

Learn soul line dancing to music ranging from soul and R&B to contemporary hits, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hathaway Elementary School, 630 24th St., Washougal.
