Camas OKs upgrades to police station at a cost of $384,000

Facility ‘has mechanical components at the end of their useful life’

The Camas City Council approved a nearly $400,000 construction contract for improvements to the Camas police station.

Camas engineer Justin Monsrud told the Camas City Council earlier this month that the 28-year-old police station, 2100 N.E. Third Ave., “has mechanical components at the end of their useful life” that are in need of refurbishment or replacement.
