VANCOUVER — OnPoint Community Credit Union donated $3.8 million to 331 nonprofits in Oregon and Southwest Washington in 2024. The donations focused on diversity, equity and inclusion, financial education, food and shelter, environmental stewardship, and youth services, according to the credit union.
OnPoint’s year of giving includes $100,000 donations to four regional nonprofits: Clark County Food Bank, Rose Haven, The Giving Plate and ShelterCare. Each will each use the donations to provide food and shelter relief across Oregon and Southwest Washington.
“Community is at the heart of everything we do at OnPoint,” said Rob Stuart, president and CEO of OnPoint. “This year, we are proud to partner with these remarkable organizations that are not just meeting immediate needs but building hope and community for the people they serve.”
OnPoint provided each employee $50 to donate to the food or shelter nonprofit of their choice as part of the credit union’s eighth annual employee giving campaign. This year’s campaign resulted in an additional $36,000 donation split between nonprofits across the region.
