Crash kills one person near Amboy; sheriff’s office traffic homicide unit investigating

A Sunday afternoon crash near Amboy left one person dead, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Few details about the crash were available Monday morning.

According to a statement from the agency, a caller reported a crash about 1:30 p.m. near 18600 N.E. 399th St., west of Amboy.

The crash involved a vehicle and a motorcycle; one person was severely injured.

When first responders arrived, they found one person had died at the scene. There is no information on how many people were involved in the crash or if anyone else was injured.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit was called to the scene and is investigating.

The roadway was closed for several hours for the investigation.
