One person killed in crash in far east Clark County

The driver died at the scene

One person was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon on Northeast 209th Street, east of Battle Ground.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were called about 3 p.m. to a vehicle crash in the 23000 block of Northeast 209th Street, east of Battle Ground, not far from the Historic Venersborg Schoolhouse.

The driver died at the scene.

Family members of everyone on involved in the crash have been notified, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office, though the statement did not say if anyone else was injured or how many vehicles were involved in the crash.

Northeast 209th was closed for several hours Sunday.

This case is active pending further investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
