Star of the game: Bellingham cleanup hitter Nate Kirkpatrick went 2 for 4 with two doubles, including a first-inning hit that put the Bells on the board in the second game of a three-game West Coast League series at Joe Martin Field.

Raptors bats: Ridgefield (1-6) was held to three hits for the second straight game and tallied 11 strikeouts … Shortstop and cleanup hitter Curtis Herbert (University of Portland) went 2 for 3 and is hitting .300 on the season. … Second baseman Andrew Grenert (Loyola Marymount) went 1 for 3 after starting the season 0 for 18.

Raptors arms: Starting pitcher Damian Pantoya (Texas A&M) went three innings, allowing three hits, two runs with one unearned while striking out three and walking one. … Dillon Kirksey (Ridgefield HS, Centralia CC) went three innings in relief, giving up two runs, one unearned, on two hits. He struck out two and walked none. … Quentin Moreland (Olympic College) went the final two innings, allowing one hit.
