Letter: Research Kent before voting

By Kurt Wolfe, Vancouver

Joe Kent representing us in Congress. Imagine that beautiful scenario. It can come true. He, along with Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Tommy Tuberville, et al. can turn this country into … well, I can’t say that here.

As bad as those people are in my opinion, I always wonder about the ones who elect and reelect them. Are they horrible humans or just ignorant? Are there enough of those here in Washington that will add a new member to the Congressional Clown Show? I sincerely hope not. Please search your conscience before you vote.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
