PLS Engineering has added a civil engineer to its team in Vancouver.

Fernando Rangel has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Portland State University. Rangel brings firsthand design-build experience from his years working in construction.

Partners in Careers recently announced Sharon Pesut will be retiring from her position as executive director at the end of December.

In the past 13 years, Pesut has helped expand youth and veteran programs, build community connections and diversify funding to create financial stability for the organization.

Christine Zabel, Partners in Careers’ current associate executive director, will setp in to into the role. Zabel brings 15 years of program involvement and leadership at the organization to the role.

Partners in Careers is a Vancouver-based nonprofit that offers job training and employment services.
