All northbound lanes of the Interstate 5 Bridge will be closed overnight Monday for maintenance work on a support pier.

Closures will begin on a rolling basis at 10 p.m. Monday and reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday. Drivers will be able to exit at Jantzen Beach to avoid the closure.

The sidewalk on the northbound span will also close overnight, but the sidewalk on the southbound span will remain open.

Washington-bound traffic should take Interstate 84 east to Interstate 205 north across the I-205 Bridge to enter Vancouver, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
