Fishing report: Oregon free fishing days are Nov. 29-30

Fishing, crabbing and clam digging in Oregon will be free on Nov. 29 and 30.

Oregon does not require fishing or shellfishing licenses for the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving.

All other fishing regulations apply including closures, bag limits and size restrictions.

Salmon/Steelhead

Cowlitz River I-5 Bridge downstream — 22 bank rods released one sublegal sturgeon

Cowlitz River above the I-5 Bridge — 38 bank rods kept two coho, one coho jack, released two Chinook, one coho and three coho jacks; one boat/two rods had no catch.

Kalama River — Three bank rods had no catch.

Lewis River — 20 bank rods kept 14 coho and released eight coho.
