California grocer Trader Joe’s announced its new east Vancouver location will open Friday.

The new store at 16701 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. is in the Columbia Crossing Shopping Center on the corner of Mill Plain Boulevard and Southeast 164th Avenue. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place just before the doors open at 8 a.m.

The 10,449-square-foot store will be the third Trader Joe’s in Clark County. The first is located at the corner of Mill Plain and Southeast Chkalov Drive and a second opened earlier this year in Salmon Creek.

According to the company, the new store plans to hire 60 new employees from surrounding areas and transfer in 40 others from neighboring Trader Joe’s stores. Those interested in applying for jobs can visit www.traderjoes.com/careers.
