A drive-thru drug take-back event will accept unused and expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications Saturday at five sites across Clark County, according to Educational Service District 112.

Medications including pills, liquids and inhalers will be accepted. Medications do not have to be in original packaging. Removing personal information or labels on packaging is not required.

The free event runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at:

  • PeaceHealth Memorial Campus, 100 E. 33rd St., No. 100, in the south lot, Vancouver.
  • Walgreens Cascade Park, 13503 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
  • Battle Ground Police Department, 507 S.W. First St., Battle Ground.
  • Washougal Police Department, 1320 A St., Washougal.
  • La Center police station, 105 W. Fifth St., La Center.

The PeaceHealth and Walgreens sites are the only locations accepting sharps and syringes from noncommercial sources. All sites will collect vape pens and e-cigarettes with batteries removed for disposal.

Find year-round medicine-disposal sites or order free envelopes to dispose of medicine by mail at www.medtakebackwashington.org or bit.ly/DEATake-Back.
