After coach lost daughter to suicide, Tigers practice more than physical exercises

BATTLE GROUND — The standings will show Battle Ground’s volleyball team won its season-opening match Wednesday, beating visiting Hudson’s Bay in four sets.

That’s not what first-year coach Dana Snodgrass was happiest about.

For her, the team’s camaraderie and poise when failure inevitably happened were the greatest signs of success.
